on和over的区别

on和over的区别：指代不同、用法不同、侧重点不同。on是指在…上；over时指部分或全部覆盖在…上面。on指与另一物表面相接触；over指一物在另一物的垂直上方，多暗示悬空，但也含“覆盖于……之上”之意。

1、on：在……之上

on与其他两个介词最大的不同之处在于，on表示在上面的物体与下面的物体有表面接触。如：

a plate of cakes on the table（桌子上的一盘蛋糕），则表示蛋糕在桌子上，二者表面是有接触的。

2、over：在……之上；从一边到另一边；覆盖

over也可以表达某物在……的上方，但是悬空在上方，没有接触面。如：在头上撑起一把伞；或者茶几上方有盏灯。
