introduce的用法

1.introduce表示“介绍”时，主要用于介绍两个不认识的互相认识，或是向听众或观众宣布并介绍演讲者或广播、节目等的细节。

Allow me to introduce my wife.

让我介绍一下，这是我太太。

It is my pleasure to introduce tonight’s speaker.

我很荣幸来介绍今晚的演讲者。

2.表示“把某物介绍给某人”时，可以用 introduce sth to sb，也可以用 introduce sb to sth，

He introduced English poetry to Chinese readers.他把英语诗歌介绍给中国读者。

He introduced Chinese readers to English poetry.他把英语诗歌介绍给中国读者。

3.to introduce oneself

自我介绍；带领；引导：

to introduce a guest into the parlour

领客人进客厅；使体验；使认识；使熟悉：

to introduce somebody to skiing

向某人传授滑雪经验；引进，传入；采用，推行：

a plant introduced into China

引入中国的一种植物
